Giveaway2sm 240x300 Haunted Halloween Disney Costume Photo ContestIt’s the spookiest time of the year, and with the tang of fall in the air and happy haunts out and prowling the streets of Disney parks around the world, it seems a good time to share the ghoulish good times with all of you.

One of the best things about the Halloween parties at the Disney parks is the opportunity for children and children at heart to dress up and let their imagination run free.  Traditionally, Halloween was a time when the walls between the worlds were thin and spirits could walk our world.  But at Disney, it is a time when the walls between adulthood and childhood wear thin, and all can pretend to be whoever they want, aspirations fueled by sugary loot.

So this Halloween, we’re asking you to share the best of your pretending fun with us in a new contest.

Between now and October 17, please share your pictures of the best

Finalists Announced: Make a Memory Contest Update

Two weeks ago, Your Highway in the Sky launched the Make a Memory contest, inviting Disney fans to share their memories with us as we celebrated the launch of our new website.  The response to the invitation was wonderful.  Disney fans from all across the country shared their pictures and the memories that went with them.

As we read those stories, we were reminded that the magic of Disney is the wonder it brings and the way it brings people together.  Our thanks go out to all of the people who shared their memories with us – you made us laugh, you made us cry, and you made us remember our own Disney magic.

It wasn’t easy choosing just three entries out of the flood of stories.  But, judging on the combination of picture and story, we whittled it down to 3 final contestants whose images and stories stood out.

And then we decided to share their magic with you.

The top 3 entries in the Make a Memory contest are being posted on the Your Highway in the Sky FaceBook page…and you get to choose the winner.

In the end, the goal of the giveaway is to share the magic of Disney and to connect us with one another.  Sharing these entries lets us share the magic with you, and lets you tell us which of the stories you think best expresses the magic of Disney. The photo with the most “Likes” will be the winner.  The entries will remain available for voting until August 13, and anyone who “Likes” the FaceBook page is eligible to vote.  On August 14, we’ll tally up the votes and announce the lucky winner.

So go check out the FaceBook page, choose your favorite, and vote!
