Every night hundreds of images cascade across Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World. Every one of those images tells a story of joy, of wonder, and of memories made at Disney. It may be a cliché that a picture is worth a thousand words, but like most clichés, that one holds an element of truth.
When Your Highway in the Sky created the 30 day Disney photo challenge on FaceBook, the idea was to provide a fun, innovative way for Disney fans everywhere to share their memories, their hopes, and their love of Disney and the Disney parks. Many people have joined in that goal, using the challenge as a way to keep the magic alive away from the parks or even to count down to their next vacation.
But with the growth of Your Highway in the Sky and the new site re-design, we would like to celebrate the magic of Disney and your memories in a new, exciting way. Your Highway in the Sky is hardly Cinderella Castle, but it is a place equally dedicated to the wonder and joy that Disney represents for so many fans. In the spirit of Disney’s Let the Memories Begin, we would like to launch our first contest, offering you a chance to share your pictures and your memories with other Disney fans, and the opportunity to win some great Disney swag in the process!
Here’s what you need to do to win:
1.) Like the Your Highway in the Sky FaceBook page so you can keep up with news and information about Disney
2.) Like the 30 Day Disney Photo challenge on FaceBook
3.) Choose one of the prompts from the list on the 30 Day Disney Photo Challenge to be your entry
4.) Submit a photo and a brief explanation of your memory or Disney dream to contact @ yourhighwayinthesky.com
5.) That’s it!
All entries must be submitted by August 1. They will then be reviewed by the Your Highway in the Sky writers panel, and a winner will be chosen. That winner’s photo and explanation will be posted on Your Highway in the Sky (with the winner’s consent), and the winner will get to choose one of three Walt Disney World 40th Anniversary prize packs.
